For this purpose, the premises of the Immersive Media Lab are adapted and operationalized in terms of media technology with regard to optimal technical integration and with regard to the spatial dimension. Using motion capture suits, 3D scanners and in cooperation with professional dancers, choreographed body movements, gestures, sequences of movements and "choreographic patterns" are defined, digitized and analyzed as storytelling movement paths. The relationship between body and space in general as well as body position, elasticity, speed and rhythm in relation to the overall body in space should be archived as a choreographic substrate in the form of a digital plot and transferred into immersive storytelling scenarios. "Intermedia Motion Tracking in AR / VR (IMTA) - FIRST PERSON WALKTHROUGH 2020" is based on current scientific "art based research" methods and tries to convey the wide range of suspense of the research project by means of a dynamic 3D AV space. Science itself becomes an applied one Tool of art and invents access to research as an experimental search for meaning in connection with current digital media technology and contemporary artistic-technological production mechanisms.
